Faris Alami - Chair

Faris Alami is Founder and Chairman of Connecting Dots Globally. Working with multi-unit national and international companies, Faris has served nonprofit organizations, five-star resorts, national marketing companies, and major department store chains. Under his management, one client company experienced a 1300% increase in membership. Another reduced product returns by 58%, and a third company cut employee turnover by 92%. Faris partnered with TechTown – Wayne State University’s Research and Technology Park – where he managed over 45 start-ups, and played a role in planning entrepreneurial training, talent, and several international initiatives. He is a certified FastTrac Facilitator in the internationally recognized Entrepreneurial Training program through the Kauffman Foundation. Faris facilitates the Global Trade Mission program in which high school students learn to launch a global technology company, and mentors University of Michigan MBA students. He serves on the board of several organizations.

Terrance Campbell - Executive Director

Terrance Campbell is the Executive Director for Connecting Dots Globally, and is a published Information Security Practitioner-Scholar with 35+ years of senior-level experiences.  For 20+ years he has combined IT risk management and health informatics principles to design and evaluate Cybersecurity talent development and chronic illness reduction programming.  Campbell also serves as: (a) one of the NICE K-12 Community of Practice co-chair; and (b) Cybersecurity Extern for Terminix. He will also start pursuing Doctoral in Professional and Liberal Studies focusing on Cybersecurity Culture Building in 2021. 

His work has: (a) 45+ scholarly artifacts (peer-reviewed journals, book chapters, conference posters and presentations); (b) assisted over 500 individuals obtain IT jobs; (c) provided cyber-hygiene programming to 100,000+ individuals throughout Michigan; and (d) designed Wayne County Community College District’s Associate of Applied Science in Cybersecurity Degree Program.

Jeremy Peters - Treasurer

jeremy Peters, FRSA, MBA (Cantab), is an Assistant Professor of Music Business in the Department of Music at Wayne State University and is a co-founder of Quite Scientific Records. He maintains an active teaching, performing, researching, and publishing practice and is a Fellow of the Royal Society of the Arts.

Previously, he was the Director of Music Publishing for Ghostly International, having built the division at the company. At Ghostly, he worked on projects for film, television, advertising, and video games with brands such as Nike, Microsoft, HUMMER, Apple, Lincoln, Motorola, Ford, Adult Swim, major television networks, and Sony PlayStation. As well, he was the music supervisor for the EMMY Award-winning documentary film, “MEDORA.”
